Everyday Driver

Hello everyone,

I'm the co-host of a car review show, "Everyday Driver". Some of you may have seen our work as we did an RX8 review a few years back and we found the owner and car though this forum!

So, since you guys were so helpful last time, I'm back in hopes one of you can help us again.

After many viewer requests, we're putting together a direct on-camera comparison of the RX8 vs. S2000 vs. FRS. We've got the other two cars locked down but need the RX8.

We'd like a second generation car, as new as possible. Manual Transmission. In White (the other two cars are white). We also might consider Gray or Black.

If you live in the LA area and would like to have your car featured on the show, we'd love to have you! Please go to EverydayDriver.com to get a sense of what we do - We will have to drive your car, but we won't abuse it! You'll definitely come away with some great footage of your car.

Shoot days are March 9-10, in LA.

I'm happy to answer any questions, and really hope one of you can help us out.

A big thanks to all of you who have reached out so far. We've traded some emails already, and we have a few options in discussion... that's the help we needed!

I should clarify... we need cars that are stock, or very near stock. The other two cars will be in stock form. We're happy to get back to any of you, especially if your cars are a match for what we need.

I think they got a 2011 Red R3.

They wanted a White S2 but as you know, there are no factory white R3's in the US.
I was hoping they picked my White S2 that has some R3 bits, but they wanted a stock RX-8 and mine has Bilstein PSS9s. It wouldn't have been fair to the other two cars since they are all stock.

Hey Everyone...

We had a great shoot, and this forum came through big-time. I had quite a few of you reach out, and we ended up with a pristine 2011 R3 on set this past weekend. (Yes, Red... hey, look, the Japanese flag...)

Couldn't have done it without you... truly.

We're excited to share this piece (it will post in April). I have little doubt that one of you will find it and post it on this forum before I get a chance, but I'll make sure you know about it.

saw it on youtube just few days ago, that's how I learned about Everyday Driver, didn't even noticed you posted here on forums sourcing car for the comparison.

Anyways - it was a fair test, well presented, good job guys.
