Napa Valley Fun Run - May 14th

OK, I've got the bug to take in some scenery and hit a few wineries. If your interested in some sem-spirited (spouse-safe) driving and taking in some sights in the Napa Valley we're going this coming Saturday. We'll start same place as last year (Kennedy Park) at 10:30 am and will shoot up 121/128 to Berryessa/Knottsville Road then back Pope Canyon Road. Once back in the valley we'll stop for a late lunch and then visit a winery or two (TBD). This is a good drive to bring a friend/spouse as we will not be getting too crazy (someone hold me to that please!) If you're intersted post on this thread or send me an IM. If there will be a lot of us I'll need to make some reservations.

Halo I'm not sure if I can make it yet but maybe if a couple other people want to go from down here we can meet and drive north together.

I had mine checked today. I figured pulling it apart for the KONI install would change something but it was still good.

Thanks for the invite, but I'm helping friends move this weekend. Looks like the weather will be on your side, have fun. You asked what color, Ti grey, GT, Appearance Package. Talk to you later.

Sorry I can't make it guys. I have plans to go to LA to see a "friend". Not a big fan of wine, but the drive sounds fun though, really wish I could come.

Dos, are you going to reschedule since it looks like not too many people can make it this time? I really want to join you but it's just not looking good. :-( too many obligations this weekend and too little time. :-(

You all missed a great drive. Roads are just the best. This route has a good mix of country cruise, high speed sweepers and tight twisties. The 8 masters them all . Last time I tried this run, I was suprised I could keep up with the leather-clad canyon carvers that run these roads. This time though with the addition of the KONI's I was able to push them. Just amazing. The only thing that held me back was my wife turning green. She was much better when I let her drive (imagine that!). We found a great little "American Tappas" style restraurant in Yountville that I'm sure everyone will enjoy when we have another run this way. See you all at the next one!

I was kicking myself all day Saturday after I found out my brother was sick and I didn't need to go to Santa Cruz on Saturday. That sounds like a great drive.

I did the hwy 9 thing on the way home from Santa Cruz today. It actually makes me feel pretty good when so many cars pull over to let me go by. I'm not going all that fast, at least it doesn't seem like it to me but I guess they just can't go that fast!!!! LOL.

I think I'm getting close to needing new tires, they are starting to make a lot of noise. :-(
