CA My car has finally died

Hi all,

2005 RX-8 Shinka Special Edition - Black Cherry
Automatic
92K miles
Cali

I'm hoping someone here can help. Tried to start my car this morning but the key fob wouldn't work (unlock, lock, trunk, alarm). Manually opened the door with key, put the key in the ignition and turned, nothing. Not a peep. Instrument panel and radio does not light up or come on. It's a brand new battery in the car from last Sept.

It's not my regular commuter car and I only start it once a week to move it for street cleaning. The last time my car started, I drove it for 10 mins on city streets to warm up then re-parked. Then started engine again immediately after to curb my tires. That was a week ago today.

Brand new coils, spark plugs/wires.

Please help! I just need to get it running so I can sell it!

Happened to me this week.
Accidentally popped the trunk and didn't realize it, sat for a week & the trunk light drained the battery totally dead.

Like RX8Soldier said, possibly a dead battery. Try jump starting it.

Doesn't the lights turn off after 30-ish minutes? Pretty sure the interior lights turn off though.
