my car got scratched!
i washed my car today, nice and shinny, found 3 hairline scratch on my driver side small door, this is in San Francisco, the only day i park my car out on the street is monday night in Sunset near the beach. lucky the scratch ain't so deep i can wax it out. i strongly recommand you DON'T park you car out side! especially in san francisco!

It is possible that the scratches came FROM the wash.

yea you're right
it's a weak key scratches
somehow you can still see it under sunlight when you look extremely close
like i've said i still have a bit of luck
because it'll cost an arm and leg for the paint job....

I believe thats called "swirl marks."
the best way to avoid those would be to use good washing meet (sheep wool) and good drying towel (microfiber, chamois, or something along those lines.)
And make sure they are ALWAYS clean before use.
