Theres a couple of threads on the VCR meet also theres a thread on the lambo-fourms.
That gets me thinking, instead of meeting at McDonalds, why don't we just meet at VCR and show them what the 8's are all about. Every car club imaginable meet there, only thing is by 10am most of the people head off down to malibu. Last time I went 3 enzo's showed up and even a Bugatti Veyron.
I'm sorry but if I was sporting a Ferrari like this, I kill myself. I be rocking to some AC/DC or Tool but not that gay *** music

the meet was fun en all but I dont think i'm going back. I almost hit 3 bikers and almost got rear ended (if i didn't swerve). I prefer doing "spirited" driving on a closed course, not residential areas with pedestrians. I did enjoy the scenery from the canyons and the drive home from pch.
awww... don't let that scare u man dub... im sorry i missed the last 2 malibu's and haven't got to meet u yet. but i've been to about half a dozen other ones. yes the bikers, cyclists, and pedestrians can be a pain. but, honestly the drive is as safe as everyone makes it. the problem with having too many new people showing up for the cruise is that they aren't as familiar with the roads and don't drive as safely as the regulars do.
like kwescott always says: maintain a safe distance at all times by keeping a car in view ahead and in your rear view mirror. anything beyond that is TOO close. people in front have the responsibility of making sure the entourage doesn't get split- ie if they get too far ahead then they periodically pull over for everyone to catch up.
if everyone leading and following sticks with the above, then it should be a safe & fun drive for everyone.

i kept a huge pillow gap in front of me, I was fine but the guy behind me didn't. If I didn't pay attention and swerve to the left my car would be in the shop right or I might have been hurt. I've gone to the compton/ carson street races since I was 14 (the original street races for imports in cali) and the danger factor there is as worse as the malibu run. I'm not one to bitch about things but I'm just speaking the truth. Don't let my decision offend any of you, thats just me. I'm not willing to take that risk anymore. Sorry.
Mexico, lol? Not be an *** but are you smoking crack? Haha maybe we can do a angeles crest run.
My spring break is the first week of April, I'm going on a road trip with some buddies up to Vegas and drive through the Grand Canyons. I should be back on friday and Sahara should be back too. I think we can do it on the first sunday of april. What about you guys?

i might be going to taipei, taiwan the first week or so of april, but am not entirely sure yet. so, don't worry about me. i'll try to make it if i'm around. otherwise, i'll catch the next one... i'd be up to doing an angeles crest run, since that is near where i live.

me neither, sound interesting though. I need to find a recked M3 so I can convert my sedan into a 4 door M3 first though. But that is if I keep it. Thinking on getting a MS6 or something bigger than the 330 at the moment.
