ah- u guys said sunday- not saturday. hmm- guess i'll think about it. honestly, i'm a bit spooked by all the cops u guys ran into last time. i also don't know majority of the guys going to malibu meet anymore... seems like the original core malibu peeps no longer go.

Not part of the original group but I've been to the past 2 runs. I think Jun said he was interested in going, just not leading.
As far as the cops, I don't think it'll be that much of a deal; I took a practice run yesterday and felt much more easy to pick off by myself than in a big group. It'll still be fun.
I just gotta think of food options cause I think Neptunes is too far for most. hmmmm

Sorry guys been out of the car scene lately. Been enjoying the college life, ladies and hard liquor :]
Yeah Gerry, I think I'm the only original malibu member left lol, wonder if everybody else sold their 8's?! Anyways I won't be going, drinking Sat night so ill be hung ova the next day.
Myself and Dan (Danredrx-8) are planning on starting a new meet starting end of may. Every sunday at VCR (village coffee roaster) theres a meet called super car sunday where every exotic such as enzo's, carrera gt's, lamborghini's and car clubs meet. Almost every car make is represented there EXCEPT MAZDA besides me (I go whenever I can) and Dan who works at VCR so we want to get some rx8's representing out there. Afterwards all the cars usually leave to cruz down to malibu countrymarket so we would cruise along with the exotics and have lunch at a desired location. Will make a new thread in a few weeks.

I like the Idea Jun about cruising with the exotics. Tell me when to go but I dont want to be the only two 8's there. lets get more people and tell me when so we can arrange when to meet and stuff. Lets Represent.

Funny, I live just around the corner from there and just discovered the meet a few weeks ago. My 8 was there this last weekend. Pretty groovy, casual show with a lot of diverse rides.
Be cool to have a little cruise after.

you guys lucky you didn't go up yesterday. I went up there for ***** & giggles. Well CHP was out in full force. Never seen them so bad. Stunt Road alone there were 4, 2 cruising and 2 sitting on the side of the road. Mullholand Rd. I only saw 2. There was a crapola of bikes too. So my average speed was like 30-35.

i guess malibu is done for- given all the cops. kinda sad... i guess because of all the residents in the area they have more incentive to police. guess we'll need to stick to the runs where there aren't so many residents.
