HEy guys, hope all is well,
I'm good, but could be better...

Last week while driving around, i hit a corner quiet hard, to the point where I slid and hit the sidewalk...

My rear driver side RIM CRACKED, well actually a whole broke off, mysteriously the tire is still intact and with air.

I drove home but the car was shaking, wouldnt stay straight unless i manuevered a certain way.

My traction control light is also on (the one that turns on when it kicks it)

anyways, i took a look under the car to see if there was any damage to the suspension, the only thing i can see damaged is the CONTROL ARM, it bent... or at least what i believe is the control arm...

ANyways I been trying to search for one to purchase but I can't seem to find one, i was told it's dealer only product.

I also need a RIM i foudn one for as low as $160.



ANYWAYS, can any of you refer me to a GOOD MECHANIC in the LA area that is reasonable and wont GIP Me...

How much am I looking for repairs.. (NEW RIM, CONTROL ARM, LABOR)

or at least labor cuz i may just buy the parts my self if i can find it, and hoping that no other parts where messed up...


Can anyone tell me where i can find a diagram on the RX8's suspension?

thax for the diagram its well detailed and its very iseful, however it doesnt seem to point out the name of the specific part i messed up...

I Believe its the rear control arm, i can't find it online though, on ebay i found REAR TOE CONTROL ARM but it seems smaller than the part im looking for...
