Thanks jedi, I just read the thread. I'm going to take my car in as soon as I get back from my trip. I had an airbag issues last year. It turned out to be a bad sensor. I hope it is something simple this time too. MY tpms light also comes on after about 30 minutes of driving.

We'll see.

Just make sure you get it in there as quickly as you can... one of the guys who had the light coming on found out that his air bag system was DEAD. (aka, if he would have crashed.... )

Houston we have a problem....

I'm starting to have slight problems when shifting into 2nd gear. If I try and upshift at high RPM's (or even downshift), I end up grinding the gear going in.
I keep having to wait for the RPM's to drop below 4 or 5K to shift into second because I don't want to take the risk of grinding.

I think this is how Kwescott's transmission started off...

I remember when Wing drove my car, it grinded going into 2nd. At first I thought it was because he wasn't used to the short shifter but after driving my car this week, I think it's something else.

I'm going to try and take it to the dealership this week and I'll let you guys know what happens.

yes, i will be more than happy to get a new car..hahah ok not that happy but there are plenty of nicer cars out in the market right now that pwns the rx8.. i hate to say it but its so true...but i may be talking out of my ***, my car is almost paid for...me and deh wifey will be pruchasung a new car very soon..im trying to persuade her to get the cx7 but in reality we might get the FX35 AWD =)
