I feel like we had much more "official" notice last year.
Do you think it's time to start recruiting like mad men for the SoCal Caravan? Or should we wait another month and do a MAD DASH the last 90 days???

 

While on that subject: do you think people would be opposed to donating 5-$10 dollars per car for the caravan? I've got an idea to get us through traffic much better but it's gonna cost us a bit...

i think it sounds like an idea. i dont' know how successfull it would be since it's a free event we are going to. you can bring up the idea at least.

his car is still basically the same. he's waiting for some stuff. i even have his trashed up replica front in my garage still. i should start playing 'wack a bumper' with it.

you could set the bumper on the ground so that it faces away from you, go to Sportsmart, buy a cheap *** $5 hockey stick, and practice your slap shot!
If you get it into where the fog lights go, you get a point.

 

he has too many plans right now and has the money to do it, so i dont' know what he's guna do first. give it a few months for his parts to get in and whatnot

that's the only tough part about owning an RX-8. Takes forever to get parts in sometimes. My buddy whose got a Mustang just doesn't understand this concept... He's Mr. "I can get that in 4 days", blah blah blah. I told him, Japan is a LOT farther then detroit...

Although, I would imagine it would suck even more if you lived on the East Coast since all the parts would come here first then have to go via ground shipping to the East
