hey deedub, not sure if you have heard this or not but did you know they make wet and dry carbon fiber (glossy and flat) i guess the dry is like half the weight of the wet carbon fiber but i am sure the price is twice as much.

PLZ

You have bad bulbs. The ballast is shutting down to prevent damage.

Honestly, I dunno what you're thinking buying 12000k bulbs. Thats damn near black light which is really dangerous on the road.

phil: 12K bulbs should NEVER EVER be used ona car that's actually driven on public roads. You can't see **** with those things.

As I mentioned before, the voltage and power output is too high for the ballasts so it shuts them off to prevent damage unless you upgrade the ballasts somehow otherwise you'll fry your wiring, harness, and ballasts as well as blow out a fuse or two.

It's not defective. I remember reading that our car's ballasts can take up to a maximum of 9000 Kelvin. That's the reason why you were able to use 8000K bulbs. ALSO, you had the sport package on the AT so you weren't using HID bulbs (unless it's those fake bulbs that says "HID" on them).

The ballast doesn't care what color temp the bulbs are.
