Oooooook so: Is anyone interested in a snow trip?
We've proven we can do meets & BBQs so how about we show our friends in the snow that we know what it looks like?
I'm thinking we all pitch in for a big rental that I can get us hooked up for cheap, and we take a day trip to Big Bear, Mt. Baldy, or wherever. Anyone in? Been itching to get up to some snow and I think it'd be really cool if we made a trip of it.

 

Count me in. I try and snowboard 2 times a week when possible :D havent gone this week yet.

what date are you thinking of this happening? this month? next?

 

I haven't ski'd in almost 10 years, I'd be a little hesitant to just jump in there. I'd be up for joining you guys though...I"ll just steal my GF's truck for the day.

 

If we go somewhere where it isnt snowing so bad, we wont need chains or anything, then we can take our 8's but if we go somewhere with gnarly snow, then I'll take a truck too :D

No way I'm taking my 8, stock tires + snow and scratching up the interior with my skis
As for a date.... is next weekend too early? the 24th or 25th? Beginning of March looks busy, w/ a Malibu run and regular LAX & SB meets. Any thoughts?

I'm in. Last time i took my car to big bear i was embarrassed.....it was sooo weak from the high altitude.

Ski trip tentative details~
-1 day-er; Up and back
-Haven't heard any suggestions as for a date other than Danny's SD drive =/ (Maybe we postpone for more planning time and so Danny can go?)
-How about Big Bear? Heard it's easy to get to and the shorter drive.
-Rent skis/board down here or up there doesn't matter.
-Invite anyone you like, just not a group, something like gf/bf.
-I can rent a big Yukon or something for us for way cheap. 2 if we have enough people, especially w/ equip.
-Anything else?

Mtn. High is easier to get to I believe.

I'm normally a skiier, I haven't been in years though.
