Danny: next to the date I would add the words (this Saturday)
I'll start with #51.

Sevenstock 9 Caravan
This notice is sent regarding your listing to join the Cerritos caravan to SevenStock 9. The caravan info is as follows:
Date: October 28, 2006 (this Saturday)
Location:
Macy's Parking Lot
239 Los Cerritos Center
Cerritos, Ca. 90703
Time: 5:30 am-6:30 am
We will be leaving promptly at 6:30 and plan to arrive at Mazda's Irvine headquarters at approximately 7:00 am. This should give us sufficient time to park in the Main Lot unlike caravans arriving later who will most likely be forced to park in auxillary lots or even across the street. (we ran into this issue last year)
Here is a link to our thread with a flyer with directions from macy's to mazda https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...182&postcount=1
We hope to see you at the caravan.

heck yeah, if I had it my way the caravan would meet at 4 am so we could be there by 5 am.
Oh well, this should do well but we just need to make sure we are ON THE ROAD by 6:30.

no need to be there early like last year. We in the San Bernardino area have the scoop on how parking is...there is no advantage in getting there that far ahead of the posted start time.
anyone know someone volunteering at the event?

70 cars is a traffic jam regardless of how the entrance is set. The idea you have of splitting up the PMs may be a good idea for cruise groups as well. split them up into 25 car "run groups"...this may help alleviate some of the congestion you guys will be causing
....from what I was told, there is a parking lot across the street that will be used for those who show up early. Once the mazda hq doors open, they will begin to send people over to the HQ parking lot....in lines based upon series FB, FC, FD, FE..so on. The first out of the first parking lot will be sent to the rear of the HQ parking lot....so, showing up early will just end up sending you to the worst part of the HQ site...that is, iunless your car is selected to be in the "show" area....which is going to be different from last year as well.
For those who were there early, and remember, they passed out yellow peices of paper to those invited into the show area....many of you guys who showed up late, missed out on that opportunity even though your cars were more worthy than some of them that were selected.
Either way, we'll see you guys Saturday.
