Exclamation LAS VEGAS, help out a fellow RX8 Owner!!

hey 8ter's,

I just got me and my 8 out to vegas in july, and i received the dreaded recall letter. i live in henderson, and i tried to take my car into courteosy mazda/kia on gibson road, and that place is total garbage. they basically shooed me off and told me to check with them in december. what the hell kinda representation for mazda is this? maybe it's just me, but i was fairly irritated by this...anywho, what i'm getting at is, for those of you in vegas, what mazda dealer do you use or woudl you recommend for service?

secondly, where the hell is the rotary club out here!!! i'd love to cruise with y'all!!! hehe insights and inputs appreciated, thanks guys!!

I live all the in the Green Valley/Henderson area, but I still go to the Centennial dealership because the people are a lot better than other dealerships. I have dealt with all the dealerships in town, and all the other ones just have crappy service. All they want to do is take your money, they don't try and help you out for ****. So, I prefer that all you guys take your 8 to Centennial.

Yeah, a lot of dealerships in town are a rip off. When I blew my first engine, the Mazda dealership on Gibson Road made me pay for a brand new engine, they didn't wanna cover it with the warranty. When my blew my 2nd engine, I took my car to the Mazda dealership at Centennial and they covered for my new engine with the warranty. A lot of good people at People's Mazda/Mitsubishi/Kia, that's where I go everytime. Sometimes they even give me hook-up's & discounts.

Thats got to be bull ****!. There cant be that many RX-8's with recalls in this town. Not like I see them all over the street like I do G35's and 350's.
Unless MONA is out of replacement engines.

FYI I just had my Oil changed and they offered to do my recall so I dont get it? I'm going to take my car in Tue the 19th right when they open. Want to meet up?

I only pay 10$ for the changing the oil, they gave me the oil for free. I have spent thousands with them, so they not worried about hooking me up with free oil or tune ups.

well i'll tell you what mazda sure is proud of thier clips to hold the plastic peice between the bumper and the support beem under the hood. Installed my racing beat grills and was successful in breaking most of the clips (usually able to not break any) Oh yeah decided to paint the front rotary symbol an aluminum color also since the bumper was off anyway.

blah thanks for the inputs guys...sorry i haven't been on in a while. i will definitely give centennial a try. the one out here in henderson is garbage...they gave me that december crap too. a recall should be priority for all dealerships regardless of make. they should'nt be making me wait xx amount of months. anywho, hey DOMINION, let's definitely try to get a rotary gig together sometimes. if anyone see's a phantom blue 8 cruising around the vegas area with borla exhaust/ hawaii rear plate/ japanese front plate, strakes and accents that's ME!!! hehe. live fast and drive hard!
