Hey I posted in racing but since im local here in California I thought I would post here too....

Im going to LACR Drag Strip tonight. Gates open @ 5 and it closes @ 10. Any one want to join me? Im going to get there about 5. The track is in Palm Dale. Once you get on the 14 the drive just flys by..

Good luck man. I've driven it a few times. Track is very tough to get good times at, but fun to grudge race with friends. Hope you can break 15 flat over there. For the life of me I could not break past 13.8 with my 01' 911. Same with my friend's M3.

That track does suck. Not to mention its elevation... 2,710 ft above sea level.

well i went back to the track tonight... here are my best times

Best ET adjusted for sea level
15.287@91.222 = 14.828@93.957

Best MPH
15.491@92.588 = 15.026@95.366

I did run with another 8
he ran a 15.953@89.770 intake and exhaust
I ran a 15.415@90.645 canzoomer and midpipe

60ft 2.245 one run i got a 2.217

 

ouch...

 

besides the elevation factor, it was a reat place to run. Pretty empty on Wednesday night, I got there a little after 8pm, you can get in at least 6 to 8 runs.

 

try 18 LOL Yea its fun and all.. but every one i talk to says even when you factor in for sea level the times are still slower here...

Does any one know of other Drag Strips in the LA area?
