Just got an RX-8, Tips needed
I just recently got an rx8, but it's an '04 and it's used. I couldn't afford to get a new one. The old owner took great care of it and it's running great. I have no experience with owning a manual, even owning my very own car or with cars period. The reason I got this car is I like how it looks and also the great stuff I've heard about it from different people. I need any advice and tips to help keep the car running great. Let me know also how I can fix the problems if they are fixable. Thanks

As others said, search around, there is a lot of info, here and will tell you everything, the stickies will get you started off.
Main thing, check your oil every other gas fillup, the rotary burns oil by design.
no oil = bad for the engine.
Don't ask about gas milage, yes, it sucks. People get anywhere from 12- 25 mpg. If you ask, you will get flamed.
Redline at least once a day. Otherwise carbon builds up in your engine.
It is a lot easier to answer specific questions, if you have one, ask it, but try searching for the answer first. if there are many threads about the problem, you will get flamed. Good luck, and welcome to the club!

Welcome to the addiction.
As everyone said . . .SEARCH!!! It will keep you from getting torched by the vets here.
As for things to know right now. Aero said it ; check your oil very often, these engines are designed to burn oil. and
Redline it once a day. This is not a joke. It helps keep the engine clean. And it is a lot of fun
OH!! I almost forgot . . if you are a ricer, or a street racer . . . . DO NOT mention it here.
Enjoy your car, but if you live on the O.C. . . . . MOVE AWAY!!!!!
