Hey! I'm new to the forum, but I just bought a gray rx8 in may and I live/work/commute mostly in Irvine. Anyone here go to IVC by any chance?

 

yup! - just signed up - not sure if i'm going to make the fall semester tho - my 8 is down and it's my only ride. hopefully i can make the late start. welcome to the club btw. hope you're loving the 8 as much as the majority of us here

I saw a gray 8 parked next to the tennis courts (back lot) a few times. I get all crazy when I see them around Irvine

 

haha! - no i didn't take any courses but i wouldn't doubt it if you saw me - i was there more than a couple of times checking out the campus and hanging out with some friends there - i know there's 3 different 8's in that area though - one of which is a Ti Grey - not to be confused with my Sunlight Silver tho...

oh yeah - just an fyi if you haven't already read it on here - use the SEARCH button up there and search the forum threads before asking a question - Long story short, it's just a better idea

i dont think that was me last wed. i was at work till like 9. but i do work in irvine off of sand canyon and irvine blvd. I've been good. how have you been? i hope your 8 is treating you well. mine has a rattle at like 7,000 rpm till 8,000rpm so i have to go to the dealer On a different note when are we "Irvine People" going to have a 8 meet?

 

^In regards to an irvine meet

I work off of michelson and jamboree - and i have a 5 story parking structure that's virtually empty at about 6pm every day. the roaming security guards usually leave at 5 and the gate attendants leave at 7. The top floor is a primo spot IMO. I'm asking around to find out if it would be clear for a spot to hang out in. Great view of irvine with a view of the nature walk area right next to the golf course. Would anybody here be interested if i could get the ok??

Hey Irvine People! Does anyone want to do a meet and drive that canyon road out here? I really want to know where the road is so i can drive and ride it. We can meet at the woodbury center at Sand Canyon and Irvine Blvd. I work at AT&t the cell phone store out here so i know the lot is pretty empty no one really knows where we are. If anyone needs a hook up on phones i can help with that too during the meet . How about a friday, maybe 8/31. i don't know just throwing it out there

I'll go with you Dozer. If anyone in irvine wants let meet in irvine and drive there as a group. So its a meet going to a meet i'll be at work but i'll get off at 8 and i think they meet at 9 at autobaucs
