Hi everyone I will be moving out soon and will have no garage for the car, want to get a daily beater with better MPG, I love the 8 but I guess I'll have to say good bye to her this time. I'm open to all offers. If you have friends that are looking to buy an 8, help me out here and let them know.
car is 28XXX miles old, 2004 Sport Package 6 Speed Black/Black interior.
upgrades are Mp3 player, lighted shiftknob, Veilside kit, VolkRacing rims, Toyo low profile tires, Rotora rotors, K&N OEM filter, red calipers and black emblems. Other than that the car is stock with factory warranty overed. NO MODS UNDER THE HOOD. All service done on time and well in dealer ( MENLO MAZDA ) , you can get all the records there. I'm sure you'll get a lot more money if you take off that veilside kit. Either way good luck with the sale.

 

the problem is, my stock back bumper were scratched, my stock front is missing the front grill and fog lights and funny thing is when I take out the stock apperance lip ( i sold it ), there's 6 tiny little holes there, it'll look really bad. I sold my stock hood, and I sold my stock wheels.

 

offer a trade and you would still salvage more money than if you sold it as is. Aftermarket kits adds no value if not hurt the value of your 8.

 

ill trade my stock rims wit a bit of cash for ur rims if theyre in good cond. if ur interested.

They seem pretty hard to sell.. I'm trying to sell mine also and have ads on ebay, autotrader and craigslist and so far have had no bites... The prices seem to be pretty variable too - in the trader I've seen them newer/with less miles for less money than I want and also much more money. I wonder if there's just a small market for getting these 2nd hand?

 

Probably because you can get them for super cheap at the dealer. You're better off trading it in.

 

Except I dont want another car - I am moving out of the country... I suppose I could sell it to a dealer but then you're really getting a lowball price.

it took me 4 months to sell my FD
so I'm guessing 5-6 months for the 8, if I still can't sell it
then the kit and rims will be on sale and the car will go in to garage for LONG TERM storage.

It's a tough sell.. when I tried selling my car, it took awhile, and finally I gave up after finding some relatively similar to mine for 17-18k at the stealership. 04 RX-8 GT package with about 40k+ miles for that price.. I was lucky to even get a trade in for that amount.

 

car is currently asking 22k on craigslist with 3-4 replies, i'll see how things go this time
