I was the black one in manhattan beach. My friend lives around there and I usually park there.

 

My camera is a Motorola Q camera phone I leave it in the cupholder while I am driving in case I see any 8's on the road while I am driving.

I've had a few close calls waiting for my "Q" to boot up. This "I saw u today" forum is like a big game & I am constantly scanning the road for RX-8's.

My wife is in New Orleans, LA visiting family & she just called to say that she saw a white RX-8 in the French Quarter on Decatur St. (not that anyone on the west coast would know where that is, but it's 3 blocks from Bourbon St.)

It's funny how even those people who don't own an 8, but are associated with their owner's notice other 8's on the road.

 

haha, my Girlfriend called me an hour ago to tell me she spotted a Phantom Blue! So true... our passion for these cars quickly transfers over to those closest to us.

 

haha... sometimes my sister will call me to tell she spotted an 8.

 

spooky! - my g/f just called me and told me she spotted a VR in santa cruz! haha! that wasn't the point of the convo but she was on the phone with me when she spotted it...haha...

I JUST saw a Silver 8 at the Irvine Marketplace. I was leaving the parking lot next to Daphne's.

Saw a silver 8 on Grand & Main heading towards the coast in El Segundo on Mon. 07-03-07 at 6:00pm. W/F was driving but my cell phone was off & I got no picture.

 

its ok man, i do the wave too.

 

Saw a stormy blue mica on July 4th getting on the 405 S. at Rosecrans at 6:05 pm(I think it was Rosecrans). Anyway I slowed down to get a picture but the driver would never catch up. I slowed down to 55 mph and gave up after 1 mile when I realized the 8 did not get off the 405, but was not catching up either.

saw two last night around 940 at a house on orangewood in anaheim. one silver and the other gray.

 

I spotted VR Rx8 out of the corner of my eye so me and my girlfriend parked next to him. i dont think he seen me but he was parked at the Tracy West Valley Mall. His car was way cooler then mine. Two tone red/black leather seats, fog lights, sun roof, and rotary emblems in the front.

let me know if your on here i dont know many people with 8s in my area.

i seen a few this week.
just saw a silver one today after work... i saw it at the gas station... i slowly pulled up.... got NEXT to Her. it was an older lady and a young dude in the passenger seat.

Yeah, i thought, "eh, its just a lady who bought the car just cuz she liked it..."
but she had some really nice rims on it.... so i started to think she was one of us....

so i make eye contact (while pumping gas).... nothing
even the dude in the passenger seat was scared to look over.
so either she/ they werent one of us... or..... they thought I wanted to race them or something and scared them off, hahaha....

either way. Im tired of pulling up next to 8's and getting no love
I should go down to your guys' area :D I'll be giving thumbs up to ever 8 I see... haha

Yesterday (07-05-07) at 6:30pm I saw a galaxy gray 8 getting gas in Long Beach at the Chevron near 1st & Alamitos. It was driven by an older white female with silver/gray hair and had a much younger white male passenger. The car had chromed rims but neither the driver nor passenger would make eye contact with me.

BTW...I was not driving my 8 at the time, so I will cut them a little slack as I appeared to be just another guy in an SUV (wife's car) getting gas.

Pretty funny how we both saw older females with younger males getting gas in an 8. Like I said.....dejavu.

 

i spotted a white 8 2 lights ahead of me, so i was smashing trying to catch up almost went threw a red light finnally catch up to it and i find out its my friend haha. it was fun though.

 

I see one every other day.
