I saw some guy(stock rx8) at the food4less parking lot near my house. I went to say 'what's up' by pulling up on the side n' the douche gave me a sideways look n' chirped the tires while speeding off - in a parking lot!??

what a ***. I was almost embarrassed to own the same car.

Dont hate on the stock rx8s.

I know I never plan on doing anything to the exterior of my car except maybe tint the windows, but that doesn't make me a bad person!

i swear i saw like 4 old ladies Driving Rx8's in the past Month...

and 10 other people who Looked at me like "why the heck is he waving at me" Lol

 

jezus man - lower the car or at least put an rx8club sticker on it or something! Let me know i'm not about to make an *** of myself by waving at a complete stranger!

 

Keeping an rx8 stock should be a crime... thats no fun at all... they are beasts on the inside beautiful on the outside if done right.

its sad how many people drive rx8's that dont know anything about them or ever care to do anything to them... just like IS300's... the heart of a Supra normally at the hands of a 18-28 year old asian or white girl on their cell phone... *tear*

Yea i look very stock on the outside other than my frosted corners with leds and the mazda spoiler that i added to my base model.

thats why i wanted the sticker! so if anyone saw me theyd know =D

 

Yeah I see your car all the time, you park on the same side of the school i do...the side that actually has spaces open.

 

do you have the black rx8?

 

eddie: trust me, i can spot a stock rx8 vs a slightly modded 8 no problem - it doesn't even need to have external mods. Your greddy exhaust would've given you away. Plus that lip kit is the same one i have so yeah, i'd spot you immediately.

i mean...i wave at people that have clear corners n' they respond. But bone stock rx8's will get no love period. Mod it w/something - hell even fender strakes or a sticker relating to something about cars n' i'll wave. It lets me know that you're some-what into the car you're driving. Granted there are some exclusive parties that are exempt for the sole reason that they just love their car as is and know what they're driving.

 

Thats about the only thing I would consider, springs might be a good thing. I cant help that I just like how it looks stock, I see no need to do anything cosmetic to it. Whens its out of warranty I plan on doing some engine work but until then it shall be stock all over except exhaust and probably a mid pipe. I've only had the car less than 2 months now and currently am looking for work, so cant even do the things I want yet.
