I gave up on this thread. I spy so many rx8 now here in the DB/Walnut/chino/rowland/west cov. And no one is ever here on this forum.... I think i must recruit them into the forum life.

saw a GT WB cruisin on Highway 1 coming from Morro Bay around 7PM. stock

 

on thursday me and rotary rasp saw...

a VR with a spoiler on bellflower and wardlow going south on bellflower at 5:27pm. the driver looked like an asian female, had sunglasses on, and her and her passenger saw me and rasp.

a silver 8 with a spoiler at 6:10pm on conant and bellflower heading north on bellflower. female asian driver.

 

this thread is like 90% orange county, i'll never get spotted haha

 

Drove down to Irvine this weekend, looking forward to spotting some 8's (there aren't very many up in SB).

Sure enough:
green one on Jamboree, saturday ~ 5:30 isH?
Black one in the middle of campus - female asian driver, leaky back right tail light (you need to get that replaced, they'll do it for free!)
Silver one - crap, I don't remember where we were....

I was the WWP w/ the Mazdaspeed front (albeit mighty dirty)...

 

the LA outer county is full of sad retarded azn rx8ers that don't give a **** about other rx8 owners, yea, its true, my gf's brother recently bought one, I told him we have the same car and he immediately replied "mine's a GT though with full package!" I was like........yea so is mine and he said "and mine got custom rims!"

Ventura County is full of old ladies driving automatic RX-8s with no sort of modifications...not even tint! They probably feel cool because they think they're driving a V8.

 

lol yeah my gf lives in camarillo and she was like.. "dude all the grannies are drving your car!!"

 

haha, exactly. I live in Camarillo, too. There's at least three or four different automatic 8s in town driven by old ladies all stoked on their V8 speed machines. It's pretty depressing.

Malibu today in the afternoon.

stock Blue rx8, parked on the side of the beach.... sadly the only rx8 I saw in all of malibu.

Too many mustangs and Scion TCs everywhere....

 

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. I hate Scion TCs just because everyone that drives one thinks it's super fast and they always try to race me. I think they missed the part where it's an economy car with a bad body kit...

I hate it with a passion, but one of my good friends bought one last week and I had to bite my tongue and pretend I liked it for an hour while he raved about how cool it was and what a deal he got for 20k. Could have bought a used RX-8...

 

I like the Scion Toaster.

 

20k is ridiculous for the tC (unless he got that special edition). but the tC is ridiculously easy and cheap to mod, so it's like the ultimate ricer car. case in point, you can buy the trd supercharger (off of internet retailers) and have it installed by toyota for around $2500. That's a legal boost in hp to 220 with less than $3k! wish our rx8's were like that.

A silver RX-8 parked next to me at Pomona First Baptist in the north lot last night (Sunday) at 5PM. I've seen their car in the lot prior. Does it happen to be anyone here?

I saw a Winning Blue RX-8 with black tint and a VIS carbon fiber hood with FEED aero mirrors and Advan racing RS gunmetal rims and MS side skirts and rear bumper and clear corners with a greddy exhaust today..... It was parked in my driveway... does that car belong to anyone here?

@6:35pm tigrey, 405S at warner. younger chic driving, she was talking on the phone.



@6:37pm GG, 405S getting off on euclid. younger asian dude driving.

 

Theres always a stock blue rx8 cruising the opposite side of the road on my way to work. Him and I always pass right next to eachother going diffrent directions. I slowed down the 1st time, gave him the peace sign... nothing.
The next time I saw him, I just starred at him.... nothing...

Either Cocky or blind...

anyway, I NEVER see modded rx-8's or even rx-7's when im driving my car.
when im in my Gfs car or any other car, I see them ALL THE TIME!!!
I even see some rx8's racing on the FWY, RX8s drifting, lol all sorts of random weird ****. but NEVER when im in my 8
