Not an RX-8 but I spotted this little beast 2 days ago. Look closely, it's a POLICE CAR!!! (Monterey Park PD). The freaking thing was also turbo'd.

yup, actual Police Car. Often times, cars are seized for being used in the comission of a crime and sold at auction. The city that seized the vehicle has the option to purchase the vehicle at a 'reasonable' price. (aka DIRT freaking cheap)

Santa Ana PD does this with a ton of SUV's and other type cars. Plain clothes officer driving, most likely someone high up.

 

^^ Irvine does that too. Lots of SUV police units and we even have a PT Cruiser

emissions legal = possibly. That's a turbonetics decal on the rear window, I'm pretty sure they're C.A.R.B. certified with some of their kits.

 

Silver 8 in Harvard on Ayer Rd tonight parked in a lot around 10-10:30pm.

 

Seen a 2 tone RX8 the other day in Irvine on Alton. The sides were brown and the top half was silver separated by striping. Later saw a BB doing laps around the block then it turned into Greddy on Vanderbilt in Irvine.

 

saw another red 8 on 6th and Larchmont near K-Town around 5:30PM. it had some stickers on it. anyone here?

 

Saw a black 8 around 5:15pm in Anaheim.. Going toward state college on katella.. seemed like a cute girl was driving =)
