Just thought Id rant of the rain here, have to take the 5 south down to Irvine (from the Burbank area) and hope its not raining hard. Last time I drove through the rain down there I killed my MAF sensor accordingly killing my cat and o2 (luckily all replaced by warranty). This time I will be driving with the cover for my intake though, just remmebered where it was last night!

Moral of the story? For those of you with AEM/MS cai's, put the so called condom on your intake - play it safe

 

i got the RB intake an had no troublem that i know of. i drove from los angeles (past down town) back to Fontana last night at 12:00am. it was just a down pour for about 30 minutes.

 

Ouch! Glad everything was taken care of....I have the stock OEM Air cleaner..so no worrries for me.

i had to get new tires for my car cuz the rear tires were bald... i was driving on the 15N on sat and i could feel my car breaking lose in the back...i was driving 50
ps i saw Ladainian Tomlinson on the freeway that day too :D

 

I have ~15% left on my 275's, sliding all over the place Twitchy as hell at some points too

i hate the rain too.....i drove from santa ana to glendora in the rain, and it was some scary ****, right b4 my exit i hit a hydroplane and lost control!!! almost went off the side of the freeway!! and i was only doin 50...
