Hit and Run!
So I was on my way to the USC game last saturday and had just driven 300 miles from San Jose to LA when, on the 110S at Exposition Blvd (just 100 yards from USC), this ricer in a honda accord crashes into me at 40 mph, obliterating my rear end. He then pulls up alongside and after motioning me to pull over, he takes off and flees the scene. When I got out to check the damage, I found my rear wheel was angled inward, my exhaust was bent into the frame, and my left tailamp and bumper were hanging on for dear life
Luckily I was able to get his plate number, so as soon as the cops pick him up, homeboy is going to be funding my new mazdaspeed bodykit and exhaust.
Now all I need is some help finding a good bodyshop in Los Angeles, preferrably one with experience working on RX8s. The damage to the rear end might be extensive, so I want to find a shop with a good reputation in the community. My insurance isn't helping much with this search.....
Does anybody have any recommendations for shops?

Well, he managed to cause over 7 grand worth of damage, and my car is going to be out of commission for a month.... so I'd say he succeeded in his haterdom. I wouldn't be so pissed if he hadn't just taken off afterwards, like he was going to get that far anyway with all the damage he had sustained.

Catspaw -- there is a collision center in tustin, CA that my family/friends have had experience with before. I took my 8 there when it was in its accident (unfortunately it was considered a total loss). They were highly recommended to me by two Mazda dealerships when I was thinking about getting custom interior/paint. I think Atilla's 8 is there as well.

California Auto Collision
That place is located on Euclid right off the 405 Freeway. This is the place where all the car dealers recommend. i.e. Infiniti, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Honda, Acura, Mazda etc.
It's one of the best places out there, there was a Farrari and Lambo there for body damage once. (I use to work right next to it)

Isn't hit and run a felony?
Press charges and get the little bastard sent to PMITA prison. Say he was trying to street race or something and they might even crush his car.
At least you aren't hurt and you got the plate number. He cannot hide now, and will be facing serious criminal charges, on top of needing his mom to pay for your repairs.
