Talking Hey everybody, finally got my 8

I wanted to say hello to everyone. After 3 years of saving, working and waiting I am finally the very proud owner of a 05 Velocity Red RX-8 Sport. I have been reading this site as a guest for almost 2 years and I am impressed with the content and knowledge of the members who post here. I have wasted no time in modding my 8 and with the help of the members photos, experiences, and the vendors I have set my 8 on the road to perfection (for me). I am also looking forward to meeting all of you at the events here in Arizona. As a former Mustang fanatic it took a while to get used to the 8 but the transition was well worth it. Pics of my 8 will follow soon and I look foward to hearing from all of you (I am pretty thick skinned LOL).

Congrats! I was a former Camaro Z28 owner and converted straight to an RX8. Yes, it did take a little getting used to but what made this car much more fun was that the styling was nicer and the handling is WAY more fun. Have fun with your new ride.

Thanks everybody for the nice posts so far. Anyone reccomend an intake and exhaust system? My 8 looks good, time to pump up the speed factor.

P.S. - Damn straight lesper4. Red is the only way to roll.

Major congrats to ya Mock! See you tomorrow?

As for intake & exhaust....I think you're going to be sorely disappointed. I changed my exhaust simply to change the tone. There's no change in speed factor but I knew that going in

Edit - Ya know, if you're interested in adding more power to your 8 there's a couple guys showing up with their turbo'd 8's...now that's some noticable power improvement I'd say
