need help in AZ! please

I'm a crazy old lady that did a dumb thing. I won't bore you with the details.. let's just say it was 114 degrees, I'd been there 5 hours and I bought a RX8. I am now desperate to sell it. Of course the loan is upside down. I need to end this as painlessly as possible. I don't have a clue what I actually have, it's a 07 Galaxy Gray Sport. It has a carbon fibre hood and spoiler, upgraded wheels and other stuff. 5000 miles. Got it at Avondale Mazda this summer.
I need some help to figure out a reasonable asking price and how to describe it. I will be taking some pictures today or tomorrow. I live in Payson but would be willing to go down to the valley if anyone can help.

Not a crazy thing to do, I remember that 8, was in the showroom when I went for my service call. Had some nice professional pin striping on it if I remember correctly. The sales ppl at Avondale can be pretty pursuasive. You should contact Xavier at Biddulph, they are more customer oriented, and perhaps they can help you in selling it. Being an 'older' lady myself, I've had an 8 for 3 years now and thoroughly enjoy it. Take it out in the 'twisties' and you'll fall in love with it.

Suggestion, you should change your thread name to include you are in the AZ area. Good luck.

If it's a matter of not being able to afford the payments, call whomever your loan is through and explain the situation. They're more likely to work with you before you're behind on payments then after.

If it's just a matter of "i don't like this car anymore", I can't help you. That's blasphemy and i'll have no part in it.

I really like the car but I work in the housing industry and overnight my income was cut in half, and my health took a downturn. Can't afford it now. I owe 31,000, I know I can't get that but need help to get an idea what might be right price. KBB doesn't really help cause it has a lot of extras not listed. It really is a beauty. anyone interested? I will go out this afternoon (its cold here) and take some pictures. I'll post them here and cars.com and craigslist any other ideas.

You're not going to get anywhere near what you owe on it if you try to sell it. Call your lender and talk to them now while they'll be willing to work something out. As soon as you miss a payment you'll be treated a whole lot differently.

Carbon fiber hood?

Please post pictures. It's not a stock 8.

I think the best thing for you to do is to go back to owner or Sales manger and explain that you want to trade it in on another Mazda.

That will be your best bet.

Otherwise I say you will get 26k max for it maybe only 22k as people can buy new 07's for 26k out the door.

Your goodies (wheels) add nothing to the value of the car.
