Oh, I didn't know you were havin a meet up there til now. Coincidently I went to GMR with my friends that day but i was up there till like 6PM. Saw an Orange SRT-4 drivin pretty wrecklessly and a new s2000, other than that just a few bikes. Heh, so how was the rx-8 turnout?

it was cool i cant make it to everyone but i try to make as much as i can i love the gmr runs after to

 

heh, yeh gmr runs are crazy! In fact I went to gmr today with a few guys and the car behind me swerved outta control and hit the rail then the mountain. Turned out she is Ken Gushi's gf and later he came up drifting hardcore in his stock yellow rx-7 fc up gmr. Got some vids of him up there. Crazy though, 2 cars crashed out of the group i went =X

thats so nuts, what time were you there mez and how big was the group ken showed up with?

 

i went there up in the afternoon around 4ish. We stopped at that one parkin lot of the mexican restaurant and my friend took some vids of some donuts in his silvia and we waited for a few more people to meet us up there. Funny thing is that parking lot is used as a bus stop cuz a bus came in there and dropped some kids off. Well Ken only showed up there to pick up his gf and help her take the car down the mountain so it can be towed. He just showed up with another old school wrx. Then the group of 8 guys i went there with just held up traffic for him while he drove the crashed car slowly down. The vid i got of him was at the one mid point on GMR where there's a gate that closes part of the road and has the really tight turn. Right when he got up there he cleared the turn on his 3rd try. Aha, it was a stock auto yellow rx-7 fc.

 

o the FC was the gfs car?

and we dont get "old school wrxs" it must have been a jdm car b/c the only sporty impreza we got before the gbd was the gc8 2.5rs, no wrx here before 2002.
