A nice romantic restaurant is Bistro 45 on Mentor in Pasadena. Make reservations.

Also, there's Xiomara which is nuevo latino, and good.

J Lo has a restaurant in Pas called Madre, but I haven't heard any reviews about it.

Orange Hill Restaurant in Orange County, well not LA, but is a romantic restaurant that you can view the sunset.

there's this place in the hills of monterey park called the luminaria, it's both a restaurant and a banquet place, pretty nice and you can go out at night and sit by the fire and stuff. it gets pretty crowded tho

or, walk into barnes and noble and look up the zagat
