Farewell...

Hey AZ RX8 crew, Vividracing and others who have made the forum a great place! I sold my beloved mistress (rx-8) and wished to let you all know what a great time I've had with everyone here. The forum has been a great source of enjoyment for me and was a great compliment to owning the 8. Perhaps another rotary lies in my near future however. (I may be shopping for a 3rd gen rx-7)

I wish you all the best in everything.

Zoom Zoom,

Jesse Mcfarland

I know I'm horrible. The springs went with the car. It was actually a big selling point.
I sold the baby for a few reasons. My wife got laid off and I needed one less car payment. The RX-8 was an easy sell. Also...honestly I want something with more power. I'm selling my house in a few months and there is a good chance I'm going to buy a 3rd gen rx-7 for my fun car. Although in a year or so I may consider buying another 8 if more power upgrades become available. If you need any info on the springs when you get them just pm me. I put 10000 miles on my springs and they were great.

Icemastr's FD usually got over 400 miles to a tank, its a 20.9 gallon tank I think. Not much better gas mileage than an 8, and significantly worse if your in the throttle.

Ditto what Kari said - I never get much better than 19-20 GPM with my FD. Even less, when I'm having some serious "fun" with it.

I am going to join you.

C6 here I come.

My decision was due in part to Mazda customer service at Galpin in SCV and Mazda Thousand Oaks.

Abbid just pointed me to this thread. Not sure how I missed it. Sorry to here that you’re leaving Dark. Are you going to pass on your AZ member email list? If so who is the new event organizer so I know who to bother with PMs when I get my car back?
