Interesting stuff, but it wouldn't fly in Chicago. Here if you get caught, no points are issued, only the fine. So even if you wanted to contest it you wouldn't have the option of going before a judge, only an "administrative hearing" which amounts to "Do you have anything to say before I order you to pay?" And to add insult to injury, you mail your check to the city revenue department
