Hi, I'm interested, but I may be going on a business trip to Israel, so I'm tentative.

Any of you guys who signed up have Lightweight flywheel, intake, and catback?

That's basically what i have except i have ligher 2 piece rotors as well.

Word of advice, if your wheels are bigger than stock TAKE THEM OFF. The dyno will be pointless and you will be saddened. i.e. EVER, remove the 19's and put the stockers on.

I would do the same. Take off the 19's and put my 17x9.5 +44 NT03+M's on there.

Now question, do we just disable the ABS and Traction control to get good dyno figures? I remember that whole issue with the 8 not getting good dyno readings. I really wanna see what that RB flash did so i'm hoping there are relative comparisons. If he can pull the power i have then shiet, i need the flash. i'm leaving for LA from the dyno directly. hahahahahaha.

thanks, Rishie

Here is more information, this is from the email sent to me:

"David, most of our dyno days we can fit 8 people in a day. We can do more if you like, but that will really depend on. This is how our normal prices break down.

3 pulls 50 dollars
A/F – Tailpipe air fuel ratio curving – 10 extra dollars
Wideband – 25 extra dollars, this is of course assuming people have a secondary 02 bung in their exhaust pipe.

We tune AEM EMS, Haltech, SAFC, for the RX8’s"

Rishie, I hope my bigger tires won't mess with the numbers too much, i'm running 245/45 on 18x8, if you have a set of stockers around that I can use on the dyno maybe that will show true power that the RB flash gave me. Prior to the dyno, I'll wash out the filter, change the oil, and run 87 octane. I do think we need to atleast turn off the DSC, but i'll try on run with the DSC off, then the next two runs with everything off.

I don't think you'll be affected too much 8rotor8 because you do have a lighter wheel and the mass should be about the same. If you increase wheel diameter, that's where you can lose power even if the combinations weigh the same as stock.

I've run into situations like this before with my FC where I had some 18x9.5's in the back with 255's and a basically stock FC pulled more power. I was very disappointed. So always remember to find that balance between power and weight in all aspects. Rotational mass, Sprung and unsprung masses, etc....

If i were to sign up, date pending: I'll list all mods, some might not apply to power output.

1. NT03+M 17x9.5 +44 245/45/17 Falken ZE512, commuter tires hehe.
2. 2 Piece Rotors Front and Rear
3. ACT Flywheel, Exedy Organic Clutch
4. AEM CAI
5. Espelir Catback exhaust
6. Koyo Aluminum Radiator

Rishie

You can always swap tires with another member before you dyno.

we did the same thing down here in the south. we had about 17 cars everyone left there cars as they were just to see what they were pulling with what they had on. but one thing we found that did help was running the car hard just before we dyno'd... #'s were better for the cars that did...

I can set up another one anytime, but for the first one, I don't want to drag it out for too long.
