This 2 day event will be held in California at the Irwindale Speedway. Friday the 16th will be a qualifying day where licensed D1 drivers from both sides of the pacific will be fighting for a spot to race on Saturday the 17th. Competition day will start off with an equal number of drivers on both sides that will be competing. Once the drivers are selected , tandem drifting (Dog Fights) at speeds over 110MPH will take place. For the first time ever there will be a Pre Tokyo Auto Salon show held in the vendor village. Special cars such as RE Amemiyas 2006 FD3S, TopSecret's Skyline & Stream-Z will be showcased as well as other 2006 Japanese tuner cars and many JDM campaign girls representing manufactures booths.

I want to know if anyone wants to caravan for this event. i've talked to some people on the rx7 board. and it looks like they will be trying to caravan this event as well. you have not bought tickets yet, you can purchase online at www.d1gp.com and would like to upgrade to VIP pass you can at D1. Just let me know whos going

i was at the first D1 in 2003. That event was cool. In just 2 years it amazes me how wack the D1 events "in cali" got...but i guess the industry moves is such weird ways...

haha hks usually amkes good stuff, and thumbs up on your rims, WORK is the ****, stylish, high quality, and very jdm! you need to drop a bit though cuz your car looks like it raised a bit during your wheel swap which is normal
