Cobb vs smog

Checking to see if anyone has had any luck with using a Cobb here in Cali to pass smog by masking a CEL. Everything is in place emissions wise but getting a cel for something not smog related and seeing if the obd smog check will pick up on the Cobb masking.

I smogged 2 years ago with a custom MM tune on the car, no issues at all.
I know he masks quite a bit codes in all his tunes so you should be fine. When you get to the smog place, ask them to run a pre-test to see if your car is emissions ready. If so, you're good to go.

You can't be sure until he lists the specific issue that needs to be masked.

Clutch switch input. I'm assuming anything that pertains to smog info will red flag like air pump, cat, or possibly a misfire?

Don't go hunting this weekend and come by my house instead, we can swap catbacks ill get that midpipe from ya and ill check to see if all of your emissions components show "ready" with my OBD2 reader. If they are, theres a smog shop a few blocks from my place that is pretty quick and is pretty cheap so long as we can get there before noon (when they close on Saturdays).
