I believe the original plan was to meet up in the afternoon and shoot until the evening.

this photo shoot seems unorganized..a set time/date should be arranged by now. meeting in the afternoon is ok with me.

 

lol i think it was organized...some of us just might have mixed ourselves up

 

sounds fairly organized, just a matter of getting people to confirm on ac3's plan.
I agree this could be planned better but we're still 5 days out and ac3 is in a different state currently so it's a bit difficult to finalize.
I'm sure that'll happen soon.

i kinda like mazda hq...it seems like a good spot that can accomodate people w/o trouble from anyone.

 

ya Nikk it can accomadate ppl but its not as nice of a location as the library is...its a good back drop

 

hey guys, so yes there is an established time set for the photoshoot, we can all meet up at 2 or 2:30 at whichever location you guys want. I've been trying to think of an idea for a photoshoot location but I don't remember too many from around that area and I won't really be able to scout beforehand. If you guys know of any places please let me know where so we can finalize this.

I am still currently in Montana and will be until Saturday afternoon. So I would love to suggest a few places I know but I wanted to try something new.

Thanks Jedi for clearing this whole thing up with everyone. I'm really sorry guys that I can't be of more help but with my current situation, I feel that I'm trying the best I can.

 

well theres the place i took some of the guys for our little photoshoot..theres a lot of different areas to shoot that provides good backdrops i think..the problem with is that therea some mild traffic that passes by and i dont know if we'll get trouble from popo for using it...


jedi and rev and atilla can vouch for the spot i took them too...
i've been scouting another area in cypress that should be empty on sunday and theres trees and empty lots and big buildings..that migbt be cool too.

 

Thanks niko, we'll try to figure this out as soon as possible. If possible, people could send ideas on locations asap because we're running out of time and I don't like keeping people in the dark. Hopefully we will get this sorted out ASAP. Come on though guys, I'm down for the Huntington Beach Public Library but they're open on Sundays from 1pm to 5pm and I'm not sure if they would appreciate us posting up out front in the roundabout. There might be some other areas we could meet in that area, maybe the sports park but I don't know what it looks like in person as I've never checked it out. If someone wants to maybe check it out sometime, I'd really appreciate it.

I really liked the scenery in the spot you went to niko, if you guys want, we can meet there too but I just want to see if everyone is cool with that spot and whether or not we can actually hang out there for a few hours while getting the shots.

 

yeaah i really like that spot too!
theres also an airport near by as well as traintracks...

welll when we took the shots there were 6 cars and we were there on a saturday morning for liek 3 hours and we didnt get any trouble..so i'm guessing a sunday may be ok

i'll try and take sample shots of the spot in cypress tomorrow or friday.

nikko: i actually work in La Mirada, not too far from your Blockbuster. On Artesia right off the 5fwy. I work near a couple shipping areas - i'm gonna ask the security if we can take some shots in the lot. If not, i'll continue to look around.


another long shot would be in the riverside area - 18hwy aka Rim of the World
