Cat i can borrow 4 smog?

Anyone in the bay area have a cat I can borrow? I have to smog soon(about 2 weeks). My cat went bad awhile back so I replaced it with a midpipe. Don't really want to buy one unless its super cheap. If someone is willing to let me borrow it that'd be great.

...Or if you know a smog place that will "take care of it" for me haha i dont mind paying a little bit more but depends on the price.

Live in millbrae. Let me know.
Thanks.

is it against forum rules to double post? thinking about posting in the west for sale/wanted forum and maybe the general for sale/wanted

I guess you can make a wanted thread, and offer up a bit of cash to the person letting you borrow it. I think it would be a proper post and doesn't go against the rules, id post in both regional and overall classified. just to get the most views possible, cus i HARDLY ever look in the regional. GOOD LUCK.

The DIY will help as long as there is no sniffer test and they only check by the obd2 port. I don't know how California does it.

Basically you need to reset your cel and drive around until you have 1 test remaining to be completed(mine was for the o2 sensor.) In Nevada at least you can pass with 1 pending test, but I am guessing California is much more strict.

How often do you need to do smog tests?
Every year, every other year?

Might be worth dropping the cash and buying a new/used catalytic

Aaaannnnnnnd
