stick with the rotary....honda's suck....the rx-8 has that special feel to it that no other car has...you all know what i'm talking about

I've driven an s2k before, small cabin makes it hard to enjoy the drive.

 

my friend just crashed his into a freaking pole, apparently, he can't turn as good as an rx8

 

meh, they're really shaky compared to RX-8s and if you think rotaries are bad a 9k rpm valvetrain in a street car just bothers me. They make weird smells too, not to mention they look like an odd breed of pacific shark and are really tiny inside.

 

The frame damage looks minor to me.

Your Uncle will fix it correctly.

The ap1 s2000 uses the same tranny as our cars. It's not too different of a breed... besides the 2 seater, convertible, and piston part.

 

trust me john you do NOT want an S2GAY!! small cabin, even smaller windshield, no back space! you wont even be able to recline your seats,so you can pass out when your drunk, and it just wont be the same....

Let's not kid ourselves here; while the RX-8 is a great dual purpose car, the S2000 is a much more focused performance car. They're really cars for different missions, thought both of them offer a fair deal of driving fun. Myself personally, if the S2000 with hardtop had been the same price as a RX-8, I'd be driving a S2000 right now.

The S2k is not a definite yet, they're still pretty expensive. I might settle for another rotary and live up to the "Tokyo Drift Stunt Double" name.

 

get another RX-8, or if you can live with two seats get an FD, NOT AN S2000!!!

imo theres too much rotary biased opinions in this thread since after all, its a rotary forum (duh). Both FD and AP1 are good cars. Just #1 thing why I didnt get a rotary was the mpg, other than that they are beastsssssss
