Yeah. My wife just called me saying that I got a package from Mazda.

She said it was a book.

Hopefully the watch, the model car, and the 6 disc cd changer are in the trunk of my car with big ribbon on it when it arrives in July/August :p :p :p

i would hope they had installed the changer in the dash where it is supposed to be instead of just throwing it in the trunk

Hey tibal, I went over to Irvine Mazda to get a brochure since the one here in SD are not in yet. I swear the sales people there are not very into selling cars. I was talking to Kin I believe. He was very unenthusiatic about any of the cars. I asked him about the RX-8 and all he said, "yeah let me get you a brochure." Nothing else after that. Didn't even ask if I wanted one (even though I already have one preordered).

Cool Kin....?

Maybe you should check up on this 'Kin' guy, someone on eboy from 'a southern california dealership' is selling options to pick from the first four in stock - sounds like you might be 'fifth' in line already ! !

Got my book May 7th. This is the first official contact from Mazda. Repeated requests from my dealer have not provided solid info on delivery schedule.
Nordic Green is my wish for July, 03 from the guys in Santa Monica...

My Book was forwarded from my old address in O.C. to L.A. Got it 5/28/03.

Spent most of last night reading it. The book is a little overhyped. I'm very pleased anyway.

you guys dont sound so pleased with dealership service? I suggest seeing Denny at Heritage Mazda/Lincoln he is hella cool and definately a down to earth guy. He got to business and explains everything cuz he is a fleet dealer. He even makes compromises to get exactly the setup you want, like I wanted a moonroof, but without all the other crap - he arranged it. nice guy. definately reconmended
