Wednesday I saw a Black driving down Bancroft, next to Cal. Sounded good, had a bike rack on top. Thursday, I saw a Grey on Piedmont near the Clairmont Hotel. These are just about the first two I've seen in a while in this area. I live in the Oakland Hills, how many of you are near there?

 

Oh my god, Berkeley is the worst place to park a car. My Civic got broken into so many times on Derby Ave. Maybe I should keep my old Civic so if I ever have to drive to Berkeley, the thieves can have at it and keep my RX-8 nice and safe at home.

And the area around Lake Merritt in Oakland is the second worst (I think it's called Adams Point). I had my antenna ripped off, my gas cap stolen, my roof dented in from someone stepping on it! Oh my god, I'll never park my 8 anywhere near that area. I guess I'll park in a nice neighborhood and walk 15 blocks if I ever want to visit my friends in the area.

 

ahh oakland... home sweet home. You might see fly by down there when I feel like putting an additional 50 miles on the car that is.

 

I drive often behind Cal, near Tilden park, although a bit less now. I go to Cal. Go BEARS! If you see a red, that's me. As for the grey, well, I see it often too...but more so on the northside of campus...

Maybe sometime we can hook up for a drive or something. Skyline->Pinehurst is my home course.

 

hm i dunno if those guys go on the forum. i've seem a couple now around the area. i was at oakland service and see a lot of titanium grey automatics drivers.

 

Yeah, I have a grey one - my favorite local drive is either Grizzy or Wildcat on my commute to Berkeley... yeah, give me a shout for sure. I have been exploring some other roads in Marshall - there is one called the Marshall Petaluma road, most of the time its wide open - fun dips and windy, very scenic too but most of the roads I drive are.
