I am down. I live in San Ramon area and work in Union City/Hayward border. Also, the old circuit city partking lot off of 880/whipple had lots of room for 100+ cars.

Making it official! 3/31/12 Treasure Island Meet at noon!!!! My family plans to BBQ and play some baseball. Lets meet towards the back of the island where the baseball field is towards the toll side of the bridge. Added a FB event. Please copy and post where ever you guys can. The more the better.

I am definitely down for this meet..good point about the bridge.i haven't been to treasure island for a long time..so would it be possible to get a nearby address or some expansion/directions? Who's the person that is coordinating this meet up?

All my years living in the bay area I have never been to treasure island. I just haven't had a good reason to go. Now I do

 

Treasure Island is pretty cool, great view too. As far as the meet goes, there was not a set Time or place/ location. I was looking foward to a meet though. long over due.

 

Brings me back to the big treasure island meet i did way back when. I though they closed treasure island to the public? My information may be wrong though. Just get there early cause its first come first serve over there. I may be able to show up to this.

 

So I did the full tune-up on my 8 which is NGK Iridium Plugs, MSD 8mm Wires and Coil packs. I also have an AEM CAI, all lighter pulleys and an HKS ignition module. So I decided to see how far I could get on a full tank of gas. Mind you 1/4 was Chevron and the rest was 76 gas all premium of course and at 299.4 miles I finally filled up.

 

Cool! Were did you get a good deal on the parts? Geesh gas prices suck huh? Ah it's worth the drive heh heh.

 

Tune-up parts from ebay. Coils were $116, Magnacore Wires $90 and Plugs $70. Pully, HKS ignition module and AEM CAI was all from Silver8.

lol nope. That was Cupertino to American Canyon then American Canyon to Napa back to American Canyon back to Cupertino 3/2/12. Then yesterday went From Cupertino to Pacifica and then back and gassed up in Cupertino. That's alot of driving in 2 days...

 

lol Nice. I could've easily hit 300 as well if I had kept driving freeway when I hit socal for sevenstock. Lost the efficiency when I hit LA traffic at around 260 miles lol
