Talking

dfasdhfjladshfad;sfhadsjfadsfjadsj

im the luckest person in the world!!!!!!!

so my 8 was parked at a guest parking with a shed and metal fence blocking the main road (crow canyon rd) and a truck crashed into the fence and knocked down the car port roof thing and litterally destroied all the cars under it, but luckly my car is safe without any scratch (i think... too dark to check carefully) and it was right next to the crash!

OBX headers (from what I have read), are crap, you will probably need to get them port matched so they are at least as efficient as the stock manifold, though it will sound louder, not sure about better. I haven't done a lot of alternative reasearch on headers for the Renesis but I would definitely take a good look at what else is out there before buying the OBX's.

Damn this thread is dead, I know I have been MIA for a while, but ****, who goes to the meets every week still? I will try to make next week before I go back to school

Getting new tires, again, not going with super grippy burn up in 10 minutes tires anymore, looking like a new set of 245/40/18 Goodyear Eagle GT's, read a lot of good stuff about them

Also putting in a Exedy stage one organic clutch kit soon, got about 42k on the car now and the stock is about dead, not too shabby with my driving style.

Well anyways, hope you guys had a good and safe christmas and newyears

It's not dead, Matt just got a job. D&B will work, as long as everyone agrees. Or we can eat at Black Angus or another restaurant that serves real food then to D&B for some family fun.

Track Times for this year. Next month, there's a $99.00 special at Thunderhill.

Anyone want to go to Buttonwillow instead on the 24th of this month?

I'll be in SoCal at the dyno day down there on the 24th. Charles should be installing my BHR coils personally if all goes as planned ::::insert little girl sounding squeal of delight:::::

I got that email. I can't justify the $485 right now. How long are you staying? I may go for the drive.

I'm interested, but I've never tracked my car before ever, and most of these things require you've done it a few times. I don't even have a helmet.

Clue me in on what I need to do for this and I'm all over it like a fat kid with waffles.

I just looked at where buttonwillow actually is located.

Do we drive down Friday night and camp out in the parking lot? Thats a hell of a long way to drive before 7AM.

I'm still debating whether to pay to get those coils. If I do I would get the plugs as well, so $545 total. Unfortunately, I just paid almost $4k out of pocket for repairs to the RX-8 and 3 last month, so I'm feeling the pain when it comes to spending on cars right now.

Hood isnt painted.. but it is now fitted and the gaps look sweet. I took it to Michael J's last week to get it fitted and the paint on the wing touched up. He was able to fit it perfectly but his painter had to leave when his wife went into labor.. so i'll be going back this saturday to have it finished.
I'm sure I will get it painted at some point.. but the CF has really grown on me.

Only reason I decided to pull the trigger on the coils is that BHR is going to be there and Charles will be installing them for me.. I couldn't pass up that opportunity.

The plan is to drive down thursday afternoon and stay at Diane's moms house. There's so many people taking part in this dyno/mm day that they're having a pre-meet on friday for Jeff to start working on cars and then the dyno will be all day Saturday.

I'm looking forward to Friday night in UC so let's make sure lots and lots of people show up. Who knows, Socket might actually break down and eat with us this time!

And my Arc titanium diverter has been shipped, so I may or may not have that in time for friday's meet.

Get the RB Headers. Rotorsports is selling them for 495.00 but he's asking two hours to install. Since I have all the time in the world, I think I'll do it myself, if HWY thinks it's easy to install. I have jackstands, and the necessary tools.

get an AP with MM maps before spending 500 bucks for headers that can do anything from +4 HP to - 15 HP depending on which header you go with.
