I'm sure I can put together a route for you guys that will take you from LA to the Bay Area through only backroads. It will take a full day to complete though. If you guys are interested, I can post up the route. Maybe the Sunday trip up will be a tour of California.

Fair warning: I love the really twisty stuff, not the cruising roads.

Also, if anyone is going to be down early Friday night we can go for a drive.

 

We're leaving no later then 8pm, so... early for us would be getting to socal by Friday. You still want to meet up near my place before we head to Cerritos? My parents place is in Lakewood and it's like 10 mintues from Cerritos.

I'm not sure if it'll be worth it to meet up at your parents' place at 5 am to drive 10 minutes to meet up somewhere else. It's probably best to just meet at the official meeting place of the caravan. When are you guys staying until?

 

I don't want to get all stuck up about it but that sounds kind of sketchy, I just don't want to drive all the way down there and have no where to stay, the 8 is not comfortable to sleep in, I know, I have had to a couple of times. But I appreciate the offer

 

Not that its my place to say anything cuz ill probably be in palm springs, but why dont you guys just stick to one plan on meeting and driving? It doesnt need to be this complicated! haha. Just an idea

I've been good. My RX-8 gets a lot more exercise now and a lot less commute. I'll be up next Wednesday and Thursday, flying down Thursday night.
