I know you get the best results by washing and waxing by hand. But I really don't have the time to do that anymore.

Can anyone recommend a place in Silicon Valley for car washes and/or detailing?

 

One of the best car wash place I've been too in the past is Pacific Carwash in downtown San Jose on Santa Clara and 5th street I believe. They do an unbelievable good job inside and out for around 12 bucks. They also got another location in Cambell off Hamilton exit and on Bascom Ave, next to Jack In The Box.

 

I like Country Club Car Wash on Stevens Creek just east of Lawrence/280. Hand wash (of course) but they also pay attention to what your car needs and will recommend services (like clay bar) if they consider it appropriate.

They also have a ticket system. Ten punches gets one free full service wash. Since my interior seldom needs cleaning I just get exterior-only washes ($6) to fill the ticket and cash in for a full clean.
