Well, we met for a BBQ in the early afternoon, met different owners, had some BARC-dogs and burgers.

After the BBQ we met up with another group in a parking lot:

We made our way towards the cruise and this is right before it began:

we hung out, watched the city beneath us, the group dwindled and we all went for more burgers at IN-N-Out:

Called it a day.

The next meet will be go-karting in Feb. but we're waiting for JUNPOWER to give us the details.

I was really happy with the group of people that came through. Nobody acted like a fool, it was just a fun, cool rotary meet and I would like to see more 8's at the next one.

You guys are more than welcome to join us at any future meet.

Just click on my sig if you want more pics and the threads on this.

free for anyone local who wants to pick em up at the next meet. I don't mind sending them out either. They're not that expensive to make.

We will likely be selling tshirts though. Peter is thinking up a whole bunch of ideas now, I'm sure there's going to be more information released in the next few weeks.

Can't wait for the next meet. Go Karts! I own one myself, but it's a 3.5HP 1WD Handtruck/gokart tire Frankenstein.

Don't remember which one specifically but it's in the mountains of Santa Cruz.

We have a South Bay cruise scheduled for march so stay tuned.

We're starting a list to go go-karting for next month:

Just sign the list if you can make it.

Rates are as follows:

Saturday

Grand Prix (the most popular) - 10 minute practice, take a 10 minute break, you then go back for 5 minutes of qualifying, line up on a grid for a 15 minute race to cross the finish line first! If you have over 10 people, we will run your group back to back. This means, while the first group is doing the practice session, the second group or third will be watching the safety video. While the first group is taking the break the second group is doing their practice session. The first group will then do qualifying and then their race. The second group will follow and 3rd group if you have 30 people.

$50 - $60 per person

Sunday

Super Grand Prix - 15 minute practice, take a 10 minute break, then go back for 5 minutes are qualifying, line up on a grid for a 15 minute race to cross the finish line first!

$75 per person ($65pp for Happy Hour)
I don't know how many people are ready to spend some real money this time. The meet should be every second saturday of the month and for FEB this will be the 9th.

Also For Drivers who are under the age of 18 that has a valid drivers licenses needs to fill out this waiver.

By no driving I mean on karting. I'd rather just take my 8 on a twisty

I live really close to GoKart Racer, so I'll be there for sure.
