Ever attend any of the local meets?
There's a tuner tuesday and the monthly meet at Camino Real.
The tuner tuesday is a ninja meet(switches locations to reduce the attendance of asshats).

Damn man! i just graduated from CSUB two months ago. It would have been nice to have another rx8 on campus.

 

In N Out next to Chipotle? I drove there a few times, kids with their ricer Hondas and Scions fill that lot up. There's an EVO X and a few 240SX meets I also know locally.

No, I don't go to the In and Out meets. I've been told a lot of negative about it so I've never been. I dropped by the meets I've mentioned but mostly I would show up to the all Subaru meets we had over at Lentghwise.

Haha, we should probably start a mazda meet there. Once we get the ball rolling maybe set up an all mazda thing here in town. Or we can always join the subaru guys and have mazda-subaru thing.

 

BTW, is it just me or do our AC systems suck? My AC randomly raises in temp and then cools down. It doesn't cool the cabin enough for my two kids(who no longer ride the car because of it). Anyways Im replacing the AC condenser and radiator if anyone in town wants to drop by and give a hand or tips.

We meet once a month in various small towns up here. Closest for you(Visalia/Tulare) we do once ever 2-3 months. I know theres a few rx7s down there that said they might swing up here for a meet now and then, mini convoy? .

As for your AC when was the last time it was serviced? That and I know theres a way to reset it. There's a moderator with the link on how to do it, you can try that.

 

I'd be willing to travel to Visalia. Just let me know when theyre going so I can arrange a sitter and what not.


The AC is kinda weird I have some stripped threads in the condenser so the freon leaked. I since repaired the the thread an Refilled with freon but it doesnt feel cold.
I started reading some of the threads on this forum and I got the idea that because of excess engine heat our AC are naturally weak.(??)

Yep, the AC will do that. Look into the repair on the temp ****. I did a simple fix without removing the whole panel and soldering the circuit board.

 

Alright, so I talked to figs from up north they are having a meet going Visalia/Tulare
next month. Me and a few others are going.

The meet turnout is pretty good. Last time(which was AWHILEgo) I dropped by there was as many as =<20. Evos, Stis,Bmws, etc. I will post the location for this weeks as soon as I receive a text message from one of the guys that often attends this meet.
