thanks guys. This is my first rotary so im really new to engine maintance etc on this. Is it true that these engines need to be redlined once daily?

They should be redlined every time you get the chance! We have a meet This Saturday the 28th at Biddulph Mazda. The info is on the Azmazdaclub site in the Meets section.

Hi all, another Mike here.. I've been on the board browsing and wanting an RX-8 for a long time and finally found the right one for me!
I just moved from out of state to Chandler for a job, (graduated college) so it was the first thing I bought when I got here!
Good to see the strong support here and I've seen a few others driving around town

Hi all my name is TIm and here is my back story..

Well... Nearly 10 years to the date after I ruined my RX7, may she rest in peace, I now own an RX8. Had the RX7 for 8 years and loved it. Owned a 240SX SE for 10 years after that and finally I am back in a rotary. Didn't need a payment but I could not pass her up.

I just missed your meet as I bought her on the 29th at Biddulph went there just to browse as they had a couple 2004s listed online but only one left for sale. Had a great experience buying her now I hope to have many great years driving her.

nice S2k there bro. My brother has one, mugen hard top, white with MF10s. How do you like the transition from s2k to Rx8?

gotta say, folks are much friendlier in AZMC than here at 8club, but that's to be expected with nationwide forums I guess.

I look forward to most of you making it down to Tucson for the next meet & mod. I've asked Duby to let Jeff know that for those who would like to get together on a MM turbo install at my place, I'm game. The shinka needs boost.

I'm sure that we'll be able to convince Jay to get his hands dirty as well in the upgrade. I've got a container of Goop, wife's BBQ'in, and a case of brew for those who show up for the turbo install.

 

Some of us only trolll here because of the technical info that appears from time to time. Also to watch the stupidity of the Pettit Sc thread.

 

I bought Speedster (Stacey's) 05 Shinka....you can take her off the distribution list, cuz her baby is in CA now! With me! She is visiting tomorrow and is stoked for a reunion with The Ocho.
