How did you get $2500 cash rebate? I wasn't aware that Mazda offers any rebates on the RX8.

Not a Mazda deal but an ESM Discount (Must be a member of the ESM group to get it and the dealer must also be a member..) That particular deal ended at the end of June but they seem to occur at regular intervals throughout the year.. Got a great deal via ESM and Big Two (who are also members) on our Solara.. this year too... 4 Years at 1.9% (Could have had 0% over 3 years..) 100,000 mile Platinum (no deductable) warranty for basically nothing and paid Invoice + $100...

ESM = Employees Management Services

I think I'll wait till next year, or '06. The new models always go for MSRP or more if they can get it.
My 1995 RX-7 "Factory" sticker with freight and options says Total Vehicle Price- $38,480.00. The dealer sticker , which I did not get, was over $42,000.00. I left the dealer paying with a check for $36,500.00 Total. "Them sales boys is moroons." It was the last RX7 in AZ. Nobody in PHX or Yuma had any left. Their previous RX-7 was on the lot for 6 months. This one was there about 3 weeks and I think they thought they would never get rid of it. My pal , the parts manager, printed me the invoice on the car so I knew what to play with. I sure would like to be the salesman if it went for $42K.
