Hello all. I have this Saturday off and I was wondering if any of you wanted to grab some food and go for a drive. I've never been to Tortilla flats so I was thinking about heading out there.

Phoenix but we can meet wherever. I think the group ussually meets in Scottsdale but I have only had time to meet up with them once.

I'm sure I missed out on more then just the last one. lol Work was pretty crazy for awhile. Things seem to be getting back to normal now that we only have three scenes left to shoot and some b roll. I think the last and only meeting I was at was like 2 months ago. I was hoping to make it to that go-kart race but after it got moved to Sunday I wasn't able to make it.

I'm not sure if I met you before abbid. If you're new welcome to the board. Hopefully I'll see you and everyone else saturday.

Hey Dark the morning sounds good. If we meet up at 10:30 and grab some food from Denny's then Huff could join us too. He said he should be back around 12pm. Time isn't all that important to me on Sat. I just think the more that can make it the better. Dark what do you think about 10:30am? abbid does that work for you?

I'll be driving the wife's AT 8 this weekend as mine is out in Cali with my son.. and I just did that run last weekend.. but count me in.. so long as work doesn't intrude.. Failing that, I'm also up for a meet in the early evening at the Pavillions too?

 

Very cool. Looks like this is all coming together I can't wait till Saturday. Might have even talked my girlfriend into coming with (this took some work cause she could care less about cars ) poolside, If Erin comes I think you will both get along great. Edit: I'm kinda hoping once she meets everyone and has some fun with the car she'll like them more. Come on poolside please work some magic for me. I would love to take rides with her more often especially on the windies. Anyways need some sleep so I'm off. Goodnight everyone.

Yes it's been a looooong time or at least it feels like it. Things are slowly getting back to normal so I should be able to make more events now. well, that was a fun way to waste a tank of gas today! I think az_lynx hits it harder then huff! i know at times, i couldn't keep up (did hit tripe digits 'tho)! (watch that other lane) nice fun drive today. sorry we missed the other 8 owners. wifey got dizzy......so it MUST have been a good run! I started a new job at I-10 and Elliot and have been in Paris TN this past weekend.

I did get a new Spoiler for my 8 the other day.... Dealer installed for $250!!!!!
It's a long story and the result is stay away from Biddulph Mazda on Bell road..

Have we put an email list together of all the AZ 8 owners? That might be a good way to let everyone know when a trip is coming up.

 

What's this!? I outa wash your mouth out with soap! Man, I didn't even know about it. But to be completely honest I've been training lately on the weekends (Adventure Racing season is approaching). I'm not sure I know az-lynx. Have I met? Whare did you guys go again? Don't tell me you were thrashin arount on the public streets. I'll have to lay the smack down =). I can't wait for the weather to lighten up so we can all go out on the track for some real fun and we can let it all hang out. Pret- i'm gonna get you, sucka! =)

I'm not an 8 owner yet, but I'm looking to get into one in the next few months (and get out of my mini-van). Thanks for posting about Biddulph, do any of you other AZ owners have any dealer recommendations (or non-recommendations)? Also, I'm probably going to try going through Costco to get fleet pricing, anybody else here done that or have other suggestions for getting a good deal? Know which dealers participate in the Costco program?

The Fleet Dealer for The Costco prog Is big Bell Auto Mall.
My sales contact was Al Hlad. Good Guy, but just started at the dealership When I took possession of the 8. I myself haven't had any problems with Bell Mazda, but thats just me.

 

Bell Road, huh? It's actually the closest dealership to me. I stopped on the lot one day, just to take a look at the 8's and of course got the why don't you want to buy today and other typical sales stuff. This and the negotiating based on monthly payment are what I'm hoping to avoid going through Costco. I'll already have my own financing set up also. If you don't mind my asking, what kind or price/deal did you get through Costco?
