Nice to meet those who came out. Saw atleast 5 RX-8's, few 7's and a buttload of mx-5's. I had fun. Bone stock, stock tires and all I managed a 74.844 which wasnt too far off pace in B stock. Chilli wasnt too bad either!

I went over there 3 times to watch but I could find better ways to spend $125! I need to set up a drift event in santee around the industrial parks. Looked like fun though. Wish I would've seen ya running.

Crap, they counted my rerun as my K run. 71.607 clean on the rerun, still a second off of the Bimmer. I even went to T&S to make sure they were aware of the situation, evidently not- Oh well huh-

I'll have the SCNAX guys look into it. The penalties/re-runs/etc are recorded in 3 different places so if someone noted your re-run they'll be able to fix it. Note that these aren't actually official results yet

Nice runs by the way. I managed a 70.xxx in fun runs, but I'm sure there were cones on that one too...

I had to bail but I wish I could've stayed for some more fun runs. I was just getting a handle on eyeing the cones. At first it was kind of a blur, hence my first run DNF. Thanks Chops for the info on tires as well. Look foward to being a little more competitive.

I also asked the same thing. Chops (the guy in the yellow 8) had some good info to give here:

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=71698\

I believe the CZ will take you out of b stock. I will likely save up for JIC coilovers/RP supercat/intake and jump up in class all @ once and race b stock a while.
Good luck @ the redline event. I need to save for those rims/tires first and foremost.

Kyle

Wouldn't a CZ only take you out of B Stock if they open up your ecu and see it??

Yeah, that and the fact that all of the 8's that ran this last weekend either post or lurk heavily on the forum. Wouldn't be a secret for long.... Then theres always that sportsmanship thing.......

Chops, got your last run fixed. Now you can officially say your are faster than me :p

Hey, Russel... I just signed up for the redline event on the 23rd and don't see you on the list yet. It's almost full so you should sign up soon if you plan on going. I'm pretty sure it will be the end of my half-used Kuhmos, but at least it will give me an excuse to upgrade to the V710s.
