Is anyone for an RX-8 Rally in southern Cal???
The one event I have always enjoyed with Porsche and other car clubs is the rally events. This is a race against the clock thru a course in any large parking lot using cones to mark the course.
These events are a blast to attend and are usually very popular. Is anyone interested in organizing such an event ?
We need a few volunteers to get it going. We can have two classes, one for fully stock cars and another for modified cars(can't be too many yet, maybe cars with Borla exhaust or other simple mods). The only preparation for the cars will be to remove all loose objects from the inside and increase tire pressure by 5-10 PSI for obvious reasons.
Depending on the interest level the event can be held in OC or LA county or anywhere that is close to interested owners.
What do you think?
