just to update. I did drop my car off at NS and the guys there are extremely nice... So the quick test is that my water pump is what failed and might have to replace my radiator.. Something i was thinking about anyways, so might be worth it to do even if it is not failing... Thnx again!

Awesome to hear he's taking great care of your car. I dropped my car off there a few hours ago and it looked like they were almost done with your car.

The bodykit is painted today, hopefully the car will be done before OC meet , it's too late to stop me, Attila .

I just got my car and the water pump is fixed and the rx8 is driving fine overall. But now, i am having stalling issues with low idle when RPM gets below 1K. It does not even hesitate, it goes straight down to the stall. I am going to run the car a bit and see if it improves. I might have to change the plugs and coils. the odd thing is I did not have recent stalling issues.

check the maf to see if it's secure. Long shot but worth a try.

...so...you just mixed full conventional motor oil with full synthetic motor oil....

...you may want to google the results of mixing the two without proper measurment.

Ops, I thought you talked about the bodykit, haha. Nope, I'm not change oil yet, but If I do, I will get whole Mobil1 or Castrol ( anyone want Royal Purple, 10$ for 1,5quaters ).
@4g63Rotary: Thanks bro, I do the fitment by myself ( It was easier than I thought), and look cool!

could be a maf issue?
try resetting the Eshaft (do a search, the procedure is posted here)

if it stays that way, take it back to Neptune, I'm sure they can figure it out.

if they unplugged the battery then the car will do that until the trim has reset it's self. a few miles of straight driving will fix it if that is the case

yup, they did unplug the battery and I thought that was the case... I drove it for about 10 miles straight down the toll freeway, but still the same so far.. I am going to give it a few more days to see if things straighten out.

I did clean the MAF and did the 20 brake pump eshaft reset... I was not able to clean the ESS though, i probably will do that tomorrow hopefully.

and i did get the CEL that read low idle and on one of them was a misfire.

Thanks my friend. That intake is HKS one, I bought from a guy in here ( he sold his 8). For sure it will be ready for sevenstock but, I don't think they finish before OC meet .

look around the break booster, and the intake. depending on where the leak
was maybe something got knocked loose.

^ will do...

just to add info. The car does not stall out when I start it cold as the rpms stay above 1K for 20-30 seconds. After the engine gets warm, it does seem like fuel is cut off and engine dies anytime under 1K rpm. Once yesterday, it did not stall out, but every other time, it did.

why have you not gone back to get it looked at?
fuel pump is a very long shot as those usually surface under heavy load or when low on fuel and banking.

daniel; yours is the car that had the water pump replaced, correct?
wasn't it seized?
could have overheated the motor and caused damage.
