Anyone want to set up a So. Cal Dyno day again?

Last year we had 25 people!

 

I'm down for a dyno day, would love to see if i'm actually getting anything out of my AP

 

did someone say dyno day?

 

Are we looking for only certified Cobb tuners or any dyno? If any dyno...

J&G in La Crescenta would be great. Steve Kahn just had a dyno/tune day there a month or two ago. Normal rates are $100 for three pulls but since we'd be a group it would be more like ~$60/3 runs/person. Great rotary shop - the owner Gazo does great work at a great price, specializes in rotaries. Let me know I'll be at the shop this weekend and I can see what we can work out. Dyno is a dynojet...

 

I want to go to the same shop we did last year.

That way we can compare.

With 25 people I assume the location was good. It was in Gardena, correct Jedi?

Sleeper you can't tell anything with the Cobb?

I can tell great improvement, especially top end load.

If you give me a heads-up on the date, I'll come out and tune your APs on the dyno.

I just did a dyno day here in Phoenix with Steve Kan, actually. Lots 'o fun with big-HP RX-7s.

 

Was that before or after the drama? I forgot to ask that a minute ago.


I would be willing to join in on the fun if people didn't mind me appearing............
Maybe bring a few BHR items to discuss?

Oh I can. I just want to know if it's in my head or not. Butt dynos could just be nothing more than an automatic response to prevent buyer's remorse after all. Irregardless, my ride's MUCH smoother.

 

If People knew Jeff and I were coming, I would hafta say you could get MORE than 19 cars, easily. I have a trip in April, around the 18th or so, booked for the east coast.

 

The weekend of the 26th might be a good choice.

WOW this sounds too fun ! I might have to get the day off work for it.

 

This just goes to show you guys 2 things; 1) Good things come to those who are patient and diligent, and, 2) Jeff and I will eventually get around to meeting every damned person on this forum. I am now considering driving from the meet in MA directly to this meet iin SoCal. A fleeting thought, fershure, but I HAVE done crazier things......... I might even have my full nitrous kit back in use by then.

 

I'll begin making plans for April 26th. Look for a thread some time this weekend
